Reasonable Adjustments Toolkit

In the UK, under the Equality Act 2010, we have the right as neurodivergent people to request 'reasonable adjustments' to the way a service is delivered so that it is accessible to us. This includes changes to the way maternity care is provided. The ‘Reasonable Adjustments Toolkit’ can be used as a standalone document to communicate your support needs, can be used a part of a Birth Plan, or can be used simply as a prompt to help you consider what is most important to you. You can download it for free here.

Sensory Toolkit

Our environment has a huge impact on how we feel during labour, birth and postnatally, and this is even more pertinent when we experience sensory processing issues and/or sensory sensitivities. Our Sensory Toolkit infographics prompt you to consider how your sensory comfort can be supported during labour, birth and the postnatal time. We have a ‘Home’ and ‘Hospital’ edition, and you can download them for free here.
